So your first question must be what does the N.K.I.T. stand for? I'm glad you asked. Well I will tell you. It stands for the belief that we have a lot to learn from children. It stands for the ability to walk through life with no fear. For the ability to just call things like you see it, to be direct and upfront. It stands for the ability to act completely as you wish to be, and not how others want you to be. It stands for the ability to persist until you get what you want. It stands for the ability to truly believe that you can be or do, whatever it is that you want to. It stands for the ability to live life with complete freedom.
You see, if you struggle with any of those things...it's not something that you need to learn, but rather something that you need to unlearn. We were all born with the hunger and drive to make our dreams a reality. But the world around us squanders that passion. "Be careful", "you can't do that", "let's be realistic", "you look ridiculous" they say. And as we age, many of us give up on that child that's inside all of us. And then we justify it by saying "well, it's time to grow up" or "I have responsibilities now". At NKIT, we're inspired by the way that kids live their lives, and we are unwilling to let society kill our inner child. We will never grow up. That's why we're the New Kids In Town.
Stay foolish,
Liam
